Workaround project – presentation at the European Group for Organizational Studies (EGOS) – 2024
Under the title “Algorithmic emotional labour: Exploring the interpretations and communicative practices of knowledge workers dealing with sentiment-analysis technologies”, Claudine Bonneau, Viviane Sergi and Jeremy Aroles will present preliminary results of the project in the sub-theme: Sub-theme 23: “Bringing (Knowledge) Work Back in”: Exploring the Impacts and Implications of Artificial Intelligence on Knowledge Work

Under the title “Workaround practices as a method to open up the black box of AI in organizations”, Claudine Bonneau, Viviane Sergi and Jeremy Aroles presented some methodological aspects of the project under the sub-theme “Explaining AI in the Context of Organizations”.
We are delighted to announce that the Workaround project has been awarded funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC – Insight Grant) for a 3-year period (2023-2026)!
